Hold On To Hope!
by Still, I Will! Ministries
Scripture:
“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.”
— Hebrews 10:23 (NIV)
Hope can be a fragile thing. When life’s storms rage, when prayers seem unanswered, and when our strength begins to fade, it’s easy to loosen our grip on hope. But Hebrews 10:23 calls us to hold unswervingly—to refuse to let go no matter how fierce the winds may blow.
Our hope isn’t anchored in circumstances that change or in people who may fail us. It is anchored in the unchanging character of God. The writer of Hebrews reminds us that He who promised is faithful. That truth alone is reason enough to keep holding on.
When I think back to some of the darkest chapters of my journey—the hospital days, the uncertainty, the long nights of prayer—I remember how God’s faithfulness became my lifeline. His Word became a daily reminder that His promises still stand. Even when I couldn’t see the way forward, I could rest in the One who never fails.
Hope doesn’t deny the reality of pain—it declares that God’s promises are greater than our pain. So today, let’s cling tightly to the hope we profess. Let’s be a testimony to others that even in life’s fiercest storms, our God remains faithful.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for being my anchor of hope. When I am weary and tempted to let go, remind me of Your promises. Strengthen my faith to hold unswervingly to the hope I have in You. I trust that You are faithful, and I will rest in that truth today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Reflection:
• What promise of God do you need to cling to today?
• How has His faithfulness sustained you in past seasons of difficulty?
• Who around you needs to see your hope in action this week?
With Unshakable Hope!
