About Scott Folsom

Scott Callaway Folsom is 61 years old and currently resides in Lakeland Florida. He holds an Associate’s of Business Administration degree from Truett McConnell University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The University of Georgia. Scott has over 38 years of commercial and corporate banking experience and currently serves as the Senior Corporate Banker at City National Bank of Florida in Tampa, FL.
He is an ordained deacon and served in churches located in Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida. He is also an ordained Elder and served in this role at a church in Johnson City, Tennessee.
Scott is currently widowed and was married to Glenda Long Folsom for 34 years. They have three beautiful daughters Susannah, Caroline, and Lucy. Susannah is married to Caleb Land from Live Oak, FL. He is currently engaged to Carolyn Hoyt Ferwerda from St. Petersburg, FL. Carolyn has five children; Jack, Gracie, Ava, Julia and Greta.
Scott enjoys reading, singing, golfing, shooting, and working out. He enjoys the water, the beach, and spending time with his daughters and his family.
This memoir is his first published work, and he feels blessed that God inspired him to share his story through Still, I Will Sing!
